Enemy Front Game Info

Enemy front is a FPS game from City Interactive created by the very well known British game designer Stuart Black, creator of the FPS Black , and to be released early next year. Enemy Front takes place on the Second World War and it will be available for PS3, PC and Xbox. The game tells the story of a soldier who was thrown behind Nazi lines and receives varied missions such as espionage and sabotage, and who tries to prevent the creation of a new weapon that could consolidate global domination by the Nazis, being this your final goal.

The story of Enemy front spans for several years, since the progression through the trenches of France until the infiltration on a base of a secret weapon based in Berlin. The first level starts on the beaches of Dunkirk in France, after the evacuation of the allies, leaving Europe behind to the mercy of the invading forces. You can instantly have a first impression on the graphics, walking on concrete on foggy scenery covered by smoke and fire. You can start by picking up some ammo and walking around to have some idea on how the game works.

The game play is very solid, and the graphics remind of a 50′s film-noir with strong influences of the graphics on the 70′s action movies. Mr. Black himself admits to have strongly relied on the movie Where Eagles Dare from 1968 starring the iconic Clint Eastwood. These graphics affect enormously the way the game is played, it is a linear corridor but with many options, you can move around and interact with things, some of them are out of reach but this doesn’t have a great impact on your enjoyment of the game. You have all kinds of sceneries, since walking on concrete to taking action on the mountains on much more clean scenery.

What’s different between Enemy Front and other games of this genre is that in this one you really can take action on the battle by running around with your gun up, firing directly on enemies hidden on barricades. You run headfirst into action rather than hiding behind some shelter firing around, which increases the alertness and activity on playing the game.

The expectations are very high for this one, not only because one of the creations of the developer were a success amongst the fans, but also because the previews are really exciting for lovers of this type of games. Also City Creative has never let the fans down. So, if you are willing to play the game you can take a glimpse at some video previews that are already around the internet. But to play, you have to wait for the game release early next year.
